A photo of the loved one

The new photo, together
How it works
Two photos in, one photo out. Nothing to install and nothing to learn.
First
Choose a graduation photo of the graduate in cap and gown, ideally outdoors with some room beside them.
Then
Add a clear photo of your loved one. An old snapshot is fine; faded and black and white photos work too.
Last
Press the button and download the photo for a frame, a card or the graduation party.

Tips for graduation photos
- Photos taken outside the school or at the ceremony in daylight blend most naturally.
- A photo where the graduate stands with space on one side gives your loved one a natural place to stand.
- Group photos with family work too, as long as there is a little room in the group.
- The graduate’s cap, gown and diploma are kept exactly as they are.
Ideas for the day
- A framed print at the graduation party, next to the cake or the photo board.
- A thank-you card that includes the photo, for family who helped along the way.
- A photo for the parent or grandparent who is still with you.
- A page in a graduation scrapbook or yearbook memory book.
Questions
How do I add my late dad or mom to my graduation photo?
Upload your graduation photo as photo 1 and a clear photo of your parent as photo 2, then press the button. They are placed beside you, with clothing that suits the day and the same light and color as your photo.
Can I use a photo of them from many years ago?
Yes. Their face and age are kept from the photo you upload, so a photo from the 1980s shows them as they looked then. Choose the age you would like to see them at.
Does it work for high school and college graduations?
Yes. Any graduation photo works, from kindergarten to college, as long as the photo is reasonably sharp and there is room beside the graduate.
How much does it cost?
Your first photo is free when you create an account and confirm your email. After that, photos come in one-time packs: 5 photos for $4.99, 15 for $9.99 or 40 for $19.99. One credit is one photo. There is no subscription, and you can also buy a pack without creating an account.
What if the photo does not come out right?
If a photo fails or times out, its credit goes back to your balance automatically. If the photo is made but the AI changed your loved one’s face and they do not look like themselves, email hello@adddeceasedlovedonetophoto.org from the address on your account (or with your order receipt) and we will give you one free redo of that photo. A sharper, larger photo of their face usually gives a much closer likeness.
What happens to the photos I upload?
The two photos you upload are only used to make your picture and are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. The finished photo is kept privately in your account so you can download it again, until you delete it with your account (Settings → Security → Delete account, which removes your photos right away) or ask us at hello@adddeceasedlovedonetophoto.org. Photos are never shown to other visitors, sold or used to train AI.
